Plant scientist Glenda Gillaspy, a professor of biochemistry in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Virginia Tech since 1998, has been named the next dean of the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences at UW–Madison. She has been and head of the department since 2015.
