Henderson appointed interim provost
James Henderson, a 40-year higher education veteran, is the retired chief academic officer of the UW System. Prior to coming to Wisconsin, he served as provost and vice president for academic affairs at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Paul Robbins promoted to dean of Nelson Institute
Chancellor Rebecca Blank and Provost Sarah Mangelsdorf recently announced that Paul Robbins has received the new title effective March 1. Robbins has served the Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies as its director since 2012.
Lloyd will be new chief data officer for university
Catherine Lloyd has been selected as UW–Madison’s new chief data officer. She has 25 years of experience working in higher education financial analysis and financial systems support and implementation.
Walters named chief human resources officer
Walters, who will start his new role immediately, says he looks forward to continuing to build and maintain human resources programs that support the success of UW–Madison faculty and staff.

Second of two pay adjustments for UW–Madison faculty and staff effective this month
