UW–Madison finalizing plans to provide COVID-19 vaccine to eligible students and employees
University Health Services will manage the process of administering vaccines to frontline health care workers and other individuals at UW–Madison who are eligible for the initial phase of vaccination, or Phase 1a.

State employee committee to meet on pay plan
In May, the Joint Committee on Finance approved the 2 percent increases, originally proposed by Gov. Tony Evers in his budget bill. The budget was adopted by the legislature in June and signed by Evers in July; the pay plan must also be approved by the Joint Committee on Employment Relations.
UW–Madison employee dies from injuries sustained in a fall
The employee, Roberto Vergara, began working at the university in September of 2009. He was employed in custodial services for the university’s Division of Facilities Planning & Management.
