Share how you spent your #UWSummer day, and win a prize!

July 11, 2018

A great way to start the day is to partake in Sunrise Yoga, on the shore of Lake Mendota near the Memorial Union Terrace. Mike Klein

How do you spend your #UWSummer day?

Next week, we’d like you to use Twitter and Instagram to share your Summer Term activities, whether it’s learning in a classroom, working a job of internship, or just relaxing on the Terrace.

It’s part of University Communications’ #UWSummer campaign from July 16 to 20 to create awareness of the scope and impact of UW–Madison student activity during Summer Term.

Each day of the week has a theme:

  • Monday is classroom activities.
  • Tuesday is internships.
  • Wednesday is research.
  • Thursday is overseas.
  • Friday is campus fun.

Each day, we will give a prize for the best tweet or Instagram post on that day’s topic, and an overall winner will receive a gift card from the Wisconsin Union.

We’d love to hear from students on campus who take classes and do research, but also students who are working at internships, spending the summer overseas, or simply enjoying all that campus has to offer over the summer months.

Remember to use the #UWSummer hashtag in your posts — and be sure that your Twitter and Instagram accounts are not set to private. University Communications will further share a collection of your posts through UW–Madison’s official social media channels and website.
