It was a simple but brilliant idea: Turn the stage around, so the band faces Lake Mendota instead of the Memorial Union Terrace. The sun came out for the first-ever Lakefront Live event, where concertgoers relaxed in their boats and paddleboards while enjoying free, live music from indie pop band Sleeping Jesus.
