The 2022-23 academic year was a record-breaker for student outcomes at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Among the milestones: The four-year graduation rate rose to 75.5%, the highest ever, and the university conferred a record number of total degrees, driven by a record number of bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
The university’s six-year and four-year graduation rates are at record highs, and the average time-to-degree for undergraduates has shortened again.
Graduates of spring, summer and winter 2020 swarmed Camp Randall Stadium Saturday for festivities scheduled after the pandemic prevented a traditional commencement when they received their degrees.
The university will welcome graduates of spring, summer and winter 2020 back to Madison Sept. 17-19 for a weekend of events celebrating their achievements.
The prerecorded ceremony will be released at 11 a.m. central time on Dec. 13 and will remain available on the web so people anywhere can watch it at a time most convenient to them.
