UW–Madison will host a news conference to recognize Professor Francis Halzen.

The University of Wisconsin–Madison will host a news conference to recognize Professor Francis Halzen, who was named a recipient of the 2026 Nobel Prize in physics on Tuesday, Oct. 6.

Halzen was recognized at the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences in Stockholm, Sweden, and will be available to answer questions from members of the media.
