HR Design Project forums, Web chat seek feedback from campus community

February 23, 2012 By Greg Bump

The Human Resources Design Project will be hosting two forums during the week of Feb. 27 to offer a status report and gather input from employees regarding the campus-wide effort to build a new, more effective University of Wisconsin–Madison personnel system.

The first forum will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 28, at 9:30 a.m. in the Plenary Room at Grainger Hall, 975 University Ave.

The second forum is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 29, at 2 p.m. in the Ebling Symposium Center at the Microbial Sciences Building, 1550 Linden Drive.

Employees are invited to offer their input about the human resources system and ask the project team questions about the project, which is aimed at building a personnel system to serve the needs of a 21st century public research university.

All university employees are welcome to attend without loss of pay and with the approval of their supervisors. The forums will likely to be no longer than 90 minutes. The campus buses serve both forum locations.

Translators and sign language interpreters will be made available.

In addition to the forums, a Web chat with project leaders will be held Thursday, Feb. 23, from 2-3 p.m.  For more information on the Web chat, visit here.
