Photo gallery Graduation checklist: Cap, gown, Abe photo

November 25, 2019

It’s a rite of passage for UW–Madison graduates, wearing their graduation gowns, to pose for a photo on the lap of the Abraham Lincoln statue atop Bascom Hill. With the Dec. 15 commencement ceremony less than a month away, some took their photos recently. Some grads whisper their dreams into Abe’s ear, others even kiss his bronze cheek.
