Two finalists for the position of associate vice chancellor for finance at UW–Madison will visit campus the first week in June.

The finalists, David Moore, assistant vice president and chief budget officer at George Mason University, and David Murphy, associate vice president for finance at the University of Chicago, will give presentations and answer questions at open forums. Members of the campus community are encouraged to attend.

The candidates and times, dates and locations of the forums are:

David Murphy: Monday, June 4, 1:30 p.m. in VandeBerg Auditorium at the Pyle Center

David Moore: Wednesday, June 6, noon, in VandeBerg Auditorium at the Pyle Center

The associate vice chancellor will help the university’s senior leadership craft a financial strategy for the campus and also serve as a key adviser to campus leaders.

A search and screen committee chaired by UW–Madison Chief Human Resources Officer Wayne Guthrie recommended the finalists to Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration Laurent Heller.

More information about the finalists is available online.
