Book: Bush as a manager, wartime president

Don Kettl, a UW–Madison professor of political science with the Robert M. LaFollette School of Public Affairs, is the author a new book that focuses on the management style of President George W. Bush.

The book, “Team Bush: Leadership Lessons from the Bush White House,” explores the management style of the only president who holds a business school degree – an MBA from Harvard University.

Kettle will share some of his insights at two public events:

  • Kettl will participate in a talk and book signing at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 27, at the University Book Store, 711 State St.
  • He will be present a public talk, “Team Bush: The Management Style of a Wartime President,” Friday, March 28, at 4:30 p.m. in Room 201 of the Fluno Center, 601 University Ave.
