Athletics duties reassigned

Four UW Athletics administrators have been given new titles and additional duties now that Al Fish, associate athletics director, has been named associate vice chancellor for facilities planning and management effective Jan. 6.

According to UW Athletics Director Pat Richter:

• Jamie Pollard was named senior associate athletics director for administration and finance. New duties include oversight of the division’s capital projects.
• Cheryl Marra was named senior associate athletics director for sports administration. She will now oversee the department’s equipment inventory operations.
• Vince Sweeney was named senior associate athletics director for external relations. New duties include oversight of Video and Technical Services and the University Ridge Golf Course.
• Doug Beard was named associate athletics director for facilities and events. He will oversee facility and maintenance operations.
