Local artist and UW alumnus Michael Ward presented a painting to UW–Madison Chancellor Rebecca Blank on Aug. 16, in thanks for UW having hosted the first exhibit of his work. The original drawing symbolizes loyalty, being grounded, self-determination and perseverance.
