Applicants sought for director of University Housing
The University of Wisconsin–Madison is seeking applications and nominations for the position of director of University Housing.
A 12-member search committee, chaired by Steve Amundson, director of Campus and Visitor Relations, will recommend finalists for the housing position to Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration Darrell Bazzell.
The new director of university housing will succeed Paul Evans, who has announced that he will retire in late May. Evans has served as the division’s director since 1998.
In addition to Amundson, members of the search and screen committee include:

- Carl Grant, professor of Education;
- Kevin Helmkamp, associate dean, Division of Student Life;
- Tom Ripp, locksmith, Division of University Housing;
- Barb Peters, food service assistant, Division of University Housing;
- Greg Smith, assistant dean, College of Letters & Science;
- Kelly Ignatoski, assistant director, University Housing;
- Adele Brumfield, director of Undergraduate Admissions and Recruitment;
- Colin McReavy, student;
- Madison Laning, student;
- Richardson Addai-Mununkum, University Apartments.
The director of university housing is responsible for leading, planning and directing the complete operations of university housing which include undergraduate residence halls, graduate apartment housing, and dining operations.
