Advisory: UW-Madison reaches out to industry with Business Day on Campus
About 220 attendees from more than 80 businesses will be on the University of Wisconsin–Madison campus Wednesday, Aug. 23, to learn how they can tap UW–Madison resources to advance their business.
Registrants for UW–Madison Business Day on Campus range from human resource managers to chief executive officers, and they hail from small regional companies to global tech leaders. They all want to better understand the breadth and depth of business-focused assets at UW–Madison and how they can develop partnerships with the university.
Highlights of the event include presentations from six companies sharing outcomes from UW partnerships, networking opportunities with more than 25 campus units, and flash-style talks focused on UW innovation.
The event, organized by the Office of Corporate Relations, also features a welcome from Chancellor Rebecca Blank. Tom Falk, chairman and CEO of Kimberly-Clark Corp. and a 1980 UW–Madison graduate, will deliver the keynote address.
