WSRC exhibitions showcase work of Madison artists

November 16, 2004

Artists Leslee Nelson and Bobbette Rose are exhibiting their work at the Women’s Studies Research Center through December.

Nelson exhibits installations, dolls and quilts throughout the United States, Europe and Asia. A professor in the departments of Art and Liberal Studies and the Arts, she is the director of the Wisconsin Regional Art Program.

Rose works with layers of paper pulp, pigment and collage materials to evoke a sense of archaeological history.

The WSRC is located at 108 Ingraham Hall. For more information about the exhibitions, contact Laura Pollick at 263-2053 or pollick@wisc.edu.
