Wiscopinion: What questions do you want next semester?

December 20, 2017

If you’re the average UW–Madison student, you’re most stressed about exams and papers and time management, met your best friend in University Housing and like to eat Babcock Hall’s Chocolate Peanut Butter ice cream.

We found this out about you through our weekly Wiscopinion poll. We started it last semester for two reasons – for fun, but also to get a better idea of what’s going on with our students, so we can serve them better.

As we launch the second semester of Wiscopinion, we’d like to know what sort of questions you’d prefer to see in this weekly poll. Click here to weigh in.

And to recap this past semester, here are more things we learned about UW–Madison students through Wiscopinion:

Your favorite TV shows are Parks and Rec, and the Office.
Your favorite song played during the Fifth Quarter of Badger football games is ’Hey Baby”.
Your favorite color chair on the Memorial Union Terrace is orange.
Your favorite student section in Camp Randall Stadium is Section O.
Your favorite thing about fall is leaves changing color.
The best cheese curds are at the Old Fashioned.
Your favorite Halloween treat is chocolate.
Your favorite lesser known study spot is in the Wisconsin Historical Society.
While you’re sleeping, you keep your phone beside your bed, turned on.
When you need advice about which classes to take, most of you go to your advisor.
