Waisman Center benefit features renowned guitarist

An acclaimed guitarist who has performed in Europe, South America, Asia and the United States will be featured in the Friends of the Waisman Center’s Eighth Annual Spring Concert.

Known for his eloquent interpretations and unique style, Javier Calderon is a professor in the School of Music. He also is the founder and head of its guitar program. Calderon will perform at 7 p.m., Friday, April 25, at the Waisman Center. A reception with the artist will follow the concert.
