Video on indigenous Mexico

Indigenous cultures and traditions in southern Mexico are explored in “Video Native Mexico” 4-7 p.m., Tuesday, April 8, in 19 Ingraham Hall.

The tour highlights the work of Dante Cerano Bautista (P’urepecha), Juan José Garc’a (Zapotec) and Fabiola Gervacio (Mixe), who will introduce the segments and answer questions.

Chicano Studies, American Indian Studies and the Ho-Chunk Nation are hosting the Madison screening, which is free and open to the public.
