UW student to appear on ‘Greed’

Andrew Wallmeyer, the managing editor of the Daily Cardinal student newspaper, is the only UW–Madison student selected to appear on a special college edition of the Fox game show “Greed” later this month.

Wallmeyer, who was part of a team made up of students from Big Ten universities, was flown to Los Angeles for the taping of a pair of shows this past weekend. They will air at 8 p.m. Friday, May 26, and Friday, June 2, locally on WMSN-TV.

Wallmeyer, from Stillwater, Minn., is a junior majoring in journalism. He was one of several hundred UW–Madison students who turned out for the “Greed” auditions conducted by two of the show’s contestant scouts March 9 in Memorial Union’s Great Hall.
