UW-Madison ranks 38th in worldwide reputation
UW-Madison is again being recognized as one of the world’s top learning institutions this year, placing 38th in the Times Higher Education World Reputation Rankings.
The rankings are a subsidiary of the annual World University Rankings, published in the fall. The 2015 reputation rankings are based on the world’s largest invitation-only survey of academic opinion, featuring 10,500 respondents from 142 countries.
In the five years Times Higher Ed has issued the rankings, they have attracted almost 70,000 responses from senior published scholars, providing a rich and unique insight into the academic prestige of universities across the globe.
