Union Theater announces savings without subscribing

August 22, 2002

This season, for the first time ever, the Wisconsin Union Theater offers new ways to save through two voucher programs, one for students and another for the public.

Presenting the best in world music, dance and classical music, the theater is offering a deal to students: Buy five or more ticket vouchers and pay only $10 per voucher. Students can exchange as many vouchers as they like for any show this season. Taking someone on a date? Use two vouchers. Celebrating with friends? Use five or 10.

The general public can also save without subscribing this season. Buy seven or more vouchers at $27 each and use as many as you like for any of this season’s shows for a savings of up to 20 percent off a single ticket price. Single tickets cost $30-$32.

The offers are subject to ticket availability. Patrons are encouraged to exchange vouchers for tickets as early as possible. The offer is not valid for Kodo in the 2002-03 season.

For an order form, vouchers, season brochure or more information, call the Union Box Office, (608) 262-2201.
