Two Receive Grants for Developing Jewish Studies Courses

Two professors have received Course Incentive Grants of $4,000 each. The grants, which are partially funded by the Wisconsin Society for Jewish Learning, Inc., were awarded to Rachel Brenner, professor of Hebrew and Semitic studies, to develop “Zionism in Thought, Culture and Literature: From the Inception to the State” and Daniel Pekarsky, professor of education policy studies, to develop “Modern Jewish Thought and Education.”
