Snow emergency remains in effect

A snow emergency remains in effect for the entire city of Madison until 7 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 11.

Residents are asked to keep their vehicles off the street today (Feb. 10) and tonight if possible. Anyone who must park on the street tonight should park on the odd house-numbered side of the street. Details on winter parking restrictions are available at http://www.cityofmadison.com/winter. Violations of alternate-side parking restrictions during snow emergencies are punishable by a $60 fine.

Cars parked illegally on the following streets may be towed:

– West Doty Street

– West Main Street

– West Washington Avenue

– 10-200 blocks of West Gilman Street

– East Gilman Street

– West Mifflin Street

– North Hancock Street

– South Hancock Street

– North Franklin Street

– South Franklin Street

– North Blair Street

– East Johnson Street (between Blair and Baldwin)

– Wisconsin Avenue (200, 300 and 500 blocks)

– 300 block of South Henry Street

– 300 block of South Hamilton Street

– North Bedford Street

– South Bedford Street

– North Henry Street

– North Carroll Street (300, 400 and 500 blocks)

– East Dayton Street
