School of Education honors faculty, staff

Seven members of the School of Education have been selected to receive Distinguished Achievement Awards, the highest honor the school bestows on current faculty and staff.

Receiving faculty honors are Cheryl Hanley-Maxwell, Department of Rehabilitation Psychology and Special Education, and Jin-Wen Yu, Dance Program.

Receiving academic staff honors are Joyce Hemphill, Department of Educational Psychology; Catherine Loeb, Wisconsin Center for Education Research; and Ann Ward, Department of Kinesiology.

Receiving classified staff honors are Lisa Armstrong, of the Wisconsin Center for Education Research, who is receiving the Claire Shaffer Classified Staff Award, and Martha Fisher, Office of Student Diversity Programs).

Award recipients will be honored at a reception at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22, in Lathrop Hall. For more information, call 265-7875.
