Scholar discusses ‘Citizen Paine’

One of the country’s leading experts on the Constitution will hold a dinner presentation and discussion Tuesday, May 14, on “Thomas Paine, the Quintessential Revolutionary.” John P. Kaminski, director of the Center for the Study of the American Constitution at UW–Madison, has written a recent book on Paine and not only vividly portrays Paine as a revolutionary thinker of his time, but illuminates the influence of Paine’s thought throughout the nation’s history up to the present day.
