Called Crazylegs World, events so far have been organized in Austin, Chicago, Los Angeles, Orange County, New York, Portland, St. Louis and Detroit.

The creation of a synchronized, worldwide Crazylegs run materialized last spring when it was learned that American military personnel in Iraq who had ties to the Madison area ran their own race. In addition, people in Apex, N.C., sent photos of their own version of Crazylegs to the W Club.
