Nicholas Maaseen, a soon-to-graduate medical student at the UW School of Medicine and Public Health (SMPH), shares good news with an audience of his peers during the school’s annual Match Day, held at the Health Science Learning Center on March 20. Maassen, one of 150 UW students who will graduate in May and start residencies around the country, learned that he will be staying in Madison and pursuing his orthopedic surgery residency at the UW Hospital and Clinics.
