Recent Sightings Recent sightings: Up for air

A baby painted turtle — about the size of a quarter — rises between tiny blades of grass from a shallow puddle of water covering a Curtis Prairie trail at the UW Arboretum on June 8. The standing water was the result of one of several torrential rainstorms to recently pass through Madison.
