More than 800 students rose to the challenge to take part in auditions for the "Jeopardy!" 2008 College Championship television game show.

The first round of the audition process, which took place at the Memorial Union’s Great Hall, required students to take a written exam, and those that passed were invited back later in the afternoon for a second-round interview.

Tapings of the show will take place April 11 and 12 at the Kohl Center. Tickets for audience members were handed out last week and are no longer available.
