Photo of students walking through fog

Students in a haze, for now
Among the less welcome signals of spring is the thick London-like fog that cloaks the campus highlands in a clammy shroud on some mornings. Yet these students along Observatory Hill soon will cast away the umbrellas as the gray days and drizzle give way to sunny, somnambulance-inducing afternoons of later spring. Diversity weaves a colorful quilt
Chadbourne Residential College residents Mandy Swiecichowski, left, and Sarah McCarney work to create quilt squares as part of a diversity quilt to be displayed at the Multicultural Center. Students are still creating the diversity quilt, which will be unveiled Thursday, April 20, at Chadbourne. The quilt will be displayed at the Red Gym for a few weeks before finding a permanent home in the Multicultural Student Center. (Photo: Jeff Miller)
