Officials urge avoiding Park Street near the Memorial Union on Friday

People are being asked to avoid Park Street near the Memorial Union from 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 11.

As part of the Memorial Union Reinvestment Project, Boldt Construction will be pouring the deck of the Hoofers’ area during that time and Park Street will be busy with concrete trucks.

The covered walkways will not be impacted, although access to and from the Limnology Lab for the general public will not be allowed during this time. Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained.
