OCR announces free seminars on high-tech entrepreneurship

The Office of Corporate Relations announces four seminars on high-tech entrepreneurship for faculty and staff.

Conducted by Phil Sobocinski, assistant director of the Office of Corporate Relations, the seminars are part of Graduate School Seminar Series. They will be held at the MG&E Innovation Center in the University Research Park.

The session Wednesday, Oct. 8, 8:30 a.m.-noon, looks at how small businesses can access federal funding and take advantage of collaborative research opportunities.

Tuesday, Oct. 21, 1-4 p.m., is an overview of business considerations for the novice entrepreneur.

On Tuesday, Nov. 11, 1-4 p.m., a seminar will explore how to create competitive grant proposals to federal agencies.

Strategies for apportioning company equity is the topic of the session on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 1-4 p.m.

Registration is required, with space limited to 100 people per seminar.
