August 22, 2001

The fall session of “How to Study in Middle School and High School” will meet Saturdays, Sept. 22-Oct. 20, on the UW–Madison campus.

“How to Study” is a five-session course for students in grades seven through 10 who wish to improve their study skills.

Not a remedial program, “How to Study” helps students make better use of their study time, plan a study schedule and develop strategies for more effective learning. Topics covered include notetaking, organization, survey research and test taking.

“How to Study in Middle School and High School” is offered by the UW Madison Office of Education Outreach in cooperation with UW-Extension. The $120 fee includes instruction and materials. Registration deadline: Wednesday, Sept. 19. Classes are filled on first-come, first-serve basis. To register, call (608) 262-0810.
