Live webchat on Nov. 3 answers housing questions

November 2, 2010

Are you a student thinking about where to live next year? Or a parent who would like to learn more about options for on- or off-campus housing?

University Housing, the UW–Madison Parent Program and the Campus Area Housing service coordinated by Visitor & Information Programs are teaming up to host a live informational Web chat about 2011-12 housing options.

The event will be held from 6-7 p.m. (CDT) on Wednesday, Nov. 3.

Students have many options for their living arrangements, both on and off campus. Experts from several campus units will be on hand to answer questions about factors to consider while selecting an off-campus apartment or house, the timing for making an informed decision, the benefits of living in University Residence Halls and the advantages of joining the Greek community.

Participants are encouraged to submit their own questions or simply sit back and observe the chat. For those who can’t participate in the live chat, a complete transcript will be posted the following day.

If you have questions in advance of the chat, e-mail John Lucas in University Communications.
