Centro Hispano, Schools of Hope to recruit campus tutors Thursday
The Centro Hispano tutoring program will have an informational booth in library mall from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. this Thursday for interested UW–Madison students. There will also be tutor training and sign-up for the Schools of Hope tutoring program Thursday evening in the Union from 2:30 p.m.-5 p.m. The programs give students of all educational backgrounds the chance to tutor pre-school to high school level children. Wielding microbe against microbe, beetle defends its food source
As the southern pine beetle moves through the forest boring tunnels inside the bark of trees, it brings with it both a helper and a competitor.
