‘Ironman’ bends campus traffic

Street closures and other restrictions will be in effect Sunday, Sept. 15, around campus due to the Ironman Wisconsin events taking place that day.

• Observatory Drive will closed to vehiclular traffic, including bicycles, motorcycle and scooters, noon-midnight.

• Langdon Street. The only vehicle access to the Memorial Union and College Library will be via Lake and Langdon streets.

• Walnut Street on the west end of campus will be one-way northbound.

• The Howard Temin lakeshore path will closes between Lot 60 and Elm Drive.

Motorists, bicyclists and pedestrians are urged to be on the lookout for barricades, signs and police officers directing traffic.
