Graduate degree recipients to be honored at reception

On Sunday, Dec. 22, the Wisconsin Alumni Association (WAA) and the Graduate School will host a commencement reception in the Nicholas Johnson Pavilion at the Kohl Center. All graduate degree recipients are invited to join in this celebration of achievements at UW–Madison.

Set to begin at 8:30 a.m., the reception will offer hors d’oeuvres and conversation between students, parents and faculty from the Graduate School. A short program will feature Martin T. Cadwallader, vice chancellor for research and dean of the Graduate School, and Paula Bonner, president and CEO of WAA.

“The Wisconsin Alumni Association and the Graduate School are pleased to host this reception,” says Bonner. “In addition to creating a festive atmosphere for the commencement ceremonies, it provides an opportunity for faculty from the Graduate School to personally wish their students well and for us to welcome them into the Wisconsin Alumni Association family.”
