Gathering at French House pays tribute to victims of Paris attacks

UW-Madison students, faculty, staff and members of the greater Madison community gathered at the French House on Nov. 16 to show solidarity and support for the victims of the Nov. 13 attacks in Paris. Above, student Razan Al Dagher speaks.

Candlelight vigil planned

A Candlelight Vigil will be held Thursday night at 9 to honor lives lost and promote peace and unity. The gathering will be on Library Mall to reflect on the events of Beirut, Baghdad, Paris, Japan, Mexico, and many more. Candles will be provided. The floor will be open to anyone who would like to share their thoughts with the group.
