Forum examines local control

April 30, 2002

What level of government is best at protecting natural resources? Twelve seniors in environmental studies have investigated the question since January and will present their findings at a free public forum, 3-5 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, in 3070 Grainger. The students examined and compared four environmental management efforts in Wisconsin. Their professor, Harvey M. Jacobs, hopes the effort will yield valuable lessons for the future of environmental management in Wisconsin. Information: 262-0552.
