February 1 application deadline

February 5, 2007

The February 1 application deadline for fall admission has passed. Please note:

Freshman Admission
All complete applications received by or postmarked February 1 will receive full consideration. Applications received or completed after February 1 will be reviewed only as space remains available. A complete application includes the application, $35 application fee, official transcript(s), and official test score(s). All students who submit an application will receive either 1) an acknowledgement letter, indicated we will be reviewing the application, or 2) a letter indicating the application was received or completed after the deadline and will not be reviewed given space restrictions. The application fee will be refunded for applications received after the deadline that are not reviewed.

Transfer Admission
The application for transfer admission was due by February 1, however transfer applicants have until March 15 to submit complete application materials ($35 application fee, official transcript(s), and official test score(s).

Deadline Extensions
If a student has an extenuating circumstance that precluded him or her from submitting the application materials by the February 1 deadline, an extension may be requested. Students should submit the application and all materials immediately, along with a letter of explanation that outlines the situation. The request for extension will be evaluated and the student will be notified if the Office of Admissions will be reviewing his or her application.

Check Your Application Status Online
All students can monitor the status of their application online. Before you can access the Application Status Web site, you must activate your UW NetID. To do so, youÍll need your 10-digit campus ID number (found in your application acknowledgment letter or e-mail) and birth date. Once you activate your NetID, you will assign yourself a password and then be authorized to access the My UW Web portal and your application status information.
