Recent Sightings Event celebrates scholastic achievements

Powers-Knapp Scholars, (from left to right) Maikou Lo, Alexis Handley, Derek Guillen, and Mei Li Brown are honored among other soon-to-be-graduates at a ceremony on Sunday at Gordon Dining and Event Center. Twenty-seven UW–Madison Chancellor’s Scholars and Powers-Knapp Scholars who are graduating were honored. The programs were established to attract, support and develop the abilities and potential of academically talented and outstanding individuals from underrepresented  groups.
