Directory of Summer Teacher Education Programs Available

April 18, 1997

A new directory of teacher education programs offered at the University of Wisconsin–Madison during summer sessions has just been published.

The free guide is titled Directory of Summer Programs for Teachers. It lists credit and noncredit programs at UW–Madison this summer that are designed for preschool and K-12 teachers.

Classes and workshops are described in arts and humanities, science and mathematics, social sciences, general education, and independent learning through UW-Extension.

“To foster better partnerships with school districts, we have published this directory to make information on our summer offerings more accessible to the teachers of our state,” said Howard Martin, dean of the Division of Continuing Studies at UW–Madison.
