Dean of students office to hold memorial

The Offices of the Dean of Students will remember UW–Madison students who passed away during the 2008-09 academic year during a brief ceremony at 1 p.m. Friday, May 8, at the Carillon Tower.

To begin, carilloneur Lyle Anderson will play seven short individual pieces, each followed by a minute of silence. The silence is to commemorate the life of each student.

In conclusion, the piece “In Memoriam” by John Courter will be played.

The students are Richard Putze, Lindsey Plank, Daniel Myers, Brian Hamming, Jeffrey Fridlund and Kurt Leswing.
