Concert to benefit campus child care

The third annual “Jazzin’ at the Gym,” a benefit for the Office of Campus Child Care and Prevent Child Abuse Wisconsin, will be held Thursday, June 22, on campus.

The concert features Jan Wheaton, who will perform in the On Wisconsin Room of the historic Red Gym, 716 Langdon St. Doors open at 6 p.m., and Wheaton will perform from 6:30-9:30 p.m.

More than 50 Madison-area businesses have donated items for a raffle and silent auction as part of the event. The silent auction will begin at 9 p.m.

Concert tickets are $12 and raffle tickets are $1. They can be purchased at the door or by sending a check to Prevent Child Abuse Wisconsin, 214 N. Hamilton, Madison, WI, 53703. Donations are also accepted.
