Campus to host ‘Ironman’

Ironman North America is seeking campus volunteers to help stage the newest race in the Ironman North America series, Ironman Wisconsin at Madison, on Sunday, Sept. 15.

The Ironman triathlon represents one of the most grueling athletic events in the world. What began as a bet among a group of Navy Seals 23 years ago, now has become an international phenomenon, with 16 events around the world featuring more than 15,000 athletes annually.
