Campus balls aimed at uniting cultures, celebrating art

February 22, 2005

An innovative approach to improving the campus climate is suggested by the Latino Ball at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 26, in Memorial Union’s Great Hall. All faculty, staff and students are invited to get to know each other better through music, dancing and food. For more information call 213-8127 or e-mail djledemsa@wisc.edu.

Down the street at the Lothlorian Co-op, revelers can celebrate the arts at the co-op’s Black Ball. Advance tickets, available at the co-op, are $10. Festivities start at 7 p.m. For more information, call 332-2080 or e-mail Shaken_Naked@yahoo.com.
