For more information about Rose Bowl tours offered through the Wisconsin Alumni Association, call (608) 263-BOWL or visit the WAA web site. Each WAA tour includes round-trip air fare from Madison or Milwaukee, deluxe hotel accommodations, Badger welcome party, Badger Huddles, game ticket, special souvenirs and more.

Season ticket holders and students got first chance to apply for available tickets last week. Tickets may be made available to non-season ticket holders at a later date, if available.

The last time Wisconsin played in the Rose Bowl in 1994, the UW received approximately 19,000 tickets. While the number of tickets available has changed since 1994, so too has the ticket price, which is established by the Tournament of Roses Committee. In 1994, the Rose Bowl tickets were $46 each; for this year’s bowl, they are $110.

The athletic department ticket plan allows ticket allocations for closely affiliated groups like the Mendota Gridiron Club, the National W Club and the UW Foundation; for tours organized by the Wisconsin Alumni Association and Funjet Vacations; for UW students; and for general public season ticket holders.

The Wisconsin Alumni Association once again is the official tour group of the university. The WAA packages include a ticket from the UW Athletic Department ticket allocation

In addition, Funjet Vacations, a travel partner with the UW Athletic Department, also receives tickets from the athletic department. For details, contact your local travel agent and ask about Funjet Vacations’ Rose Bowl Tours.
