‘Art of Note’ to benefit Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestra

April 26, 2005

Ten acclaimed visual artists have put their talents to the Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestra’s (WYSO) Art of Note project. Each has used a retired violin as a blank canvas. Their work, exhibited around town for the last few months, will be raffled at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 6, at the University Club.

A highlight of the event will be the sculpture that acclaimed artist Sam Gilliam created for WYSO.

The evening is free and open to the public.
