All-Campus Party: Full plate of fun

The All-Campus Party, created by students for students, runs April 21-27.

Involving many student organizations, community businesses and corporations, the week-long celebration provides alcohol-free entertainment for the students, faculty and the community.

Here are highlights:

  • Sunday, April 21:: Community Plunge Service Day, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.. Participants meet at Red Gym, 716 Langdon St.
  • Monday, April 22:: Blood drive, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Red Gym, On Wisconsin Room; Campus Appreciation Speaker, 7 p.m., Wisconsin Union Theater, 800 Langdon St.
  • Tuesday, April 23: Silent Witness Project, Sexual Assault Awareness Week, 11 a.m.-5 p.m., Library Mall; Flag Football Tournament, 3-9 p.m., University Bay Fields.
  • Wednesday, April 24: Luther’s Blues Concert, 9 p.m.-1 a.m., Luther’s Blues, 1401 University Ave.
  • Thursday, April 25: Breakfast on Bascom, 8 a.m.-11:15 a.m., Bascom Hill and Van Vleck patio; “Wind Up Dolls” Performance, 8 p.m., 165 Bascom Hall, 500 Lincoln Drive; Battle of the Bands, 2-7 p.m., Engineering Hall, 1415 Engineering Drive; film showings, 7:30, 9, and 11 p.m., various locations.
  • Friday, April 26: Pizza lunch, noon-2 p.m., Library Mall; cultural and music festival, 1-4 p.m., Library Mall.
